Prehistoric Rich |
Rich spent much
of his school time performing in numerous bands with names like
"Inside Out", "Baywolf",
"Vengeance", and "Strange Days". Rich played
rhythm, or bass guitar and sang backing vocals in these early
bands.

While
attending college (yes, Rich is a college graduate) Rich was
approached to sing lead and front a band that was to become
"Courtney".
Courtney enjoyed enormous popularity on the club circuit, and
while still performing with Courtney, Rich began performing solo
as well.

Rich left Courtney and became the bass player for "Sundog" . Later that year, he left Sundog to strike out on his own, and began performing what has now become the "Rich Meyer" show.

Rich it seems has found his niche, performing about 200-250 shows per year at clubs, colleges, and corporations all over. He has also found time to co-host a cable TV show "Jersey Shore Entertainment Update" from 1994-1997. Rich continues to be a leading draw today, and has plans for CD releases in the near future.
